There aren’t many chances to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life (who isn’t looking forward to the next public holiday?), but we’ve got the deets on the perfect yoga retreat, right here, in our own little town. SOULSCAPE, hosted by Singapore’s first online health and wellness magazine intheLoop, is a funky yoga and fitness festival held at Tanjong Beach Club on 25th October and luckily for you, we’re giving away a pair of tickets for one lucky girl and a friend!
It’s a far cry from your regular yoga class, with attendees decked out in UV body paint and glow sticks with activities happening at a range of beach-side yoga rave sessions, all played out to the sound of a bass-dropping beat. If you’ve had enough of your sun salutations, you can head on over to their wellness market, which will be packed full of yogi favourites like organic goodies and pressed juices. Plus there’ll be local dieticians, fitness specialists and wellness practitioners for you to chat to, so you can make sure you’re getting the best out of your health routine. If you fancy getting even more of a sweat up, don’t forget to join in the slack lining classes where you can learn how to walk on a tight-rope while working those core muscles. Or try your hand at calisthenics, a movement-focused exercise designed to use the weight of your own body to help you tone up!
A full yoga pass priced at $75 will get you access to as many yoga sessions as you want, fringe activities, a non-alcoholic refreshment and a fab goodie bag (valued at $100). Don’t worry if yoga’s not your thing either, SOULSCAPE is offering a $25 walk-about pass for those of you that just want to see the market and soak in the vibes. You can buy your tickets online or score two tickets for you and a friend in our giveaway below!
