There’s nothing quite like cracking open a cold one after a long day’s work, however you don’t have to settle for mass-produced drivel anymore ladies. Shake up your booze a little bit and swap your convenience store cans for a craft beer – the scene here in the little red dot is surprisingly booming and we at Sassy Singapore couldn’t be happier. Whether you’re looking to stock up your cupboards or want a cool post-work hangout, we’ve got you sorted.
A good pint is definitely something that transcends global borders, but it’s always interesting to see what everybody’s pairing it with. BeerFest celebrates that by not only creating their own beers, but also cooking up some absolutely mouth-watering international meals. So whether you’re hunkering for a German-style pork knuckle, a bit of borscht or even Thai seafood, two things are certainly guaranteed – great food and a luscious cold one. (Did we mention their half off all Sunday happy hour?)

Smith Street Taps
We’re loving the set up of Smith Street Taps and the way it’s designed to look just like a hawker stall, right down to the shabby chic blackboard signs detailing what’s on tap. You won’t have to settle for a lukewarm can of subpar beer here – they’re super selective about their weekly rotating selection of premium beers (they only ever stock up to eight) and everything’s on tap.
Currently on tap: Sankt Gallen Smoked Chocolate Stout, Anderson Valley Blood Orange Gose, Weird Beard brews and more. Check out their Facebook page to see what’s on tap every week.
