Every time January rolls around, we tend to conjure up all these goals for the year ahead and for many of us, it’s to save more money. But what’s a girl to do when there are so many covetable chotchkies out there that we know could make our lives much more fabulous? It’s time to set our priorities right, practice balance and learn to indulge a little. Here’s what we’re lusting over this January.
Ogorgeous Vegan Leather Gym Bag
We’re sure we’re not alone when we lament about the lack of pretty gym bags in the market. If you want a little more sass, pick up this vegan leather number designed by fitness Youtube sensation Cassey Ho. Our editor doubles hers up for travel too, because it’s incredibly roomy and has multiple slots for all your knick knacks!
Kayla Itsines Pink Foam Roller
If you’re on Instagram, you have probably seen and lusted over Australian Kayla Itsines’ incredibly toned and tanned body. The 23-year-old personal trainer has a famous bikini body workout and eating guide and she has recently launched a totally cute hot pink foam roller. In a country where we’ve only found boring grey and blue foam rollers that help knead our post-workout muscles into blissful oblivion, we could totally use one of these.
If you haven’t gotten on the wearable tech bandwagon, it’s about time you do. Our editor has done the research (and has lived through the demise of both a Jawbone and a FitBit), and if you want to be tracking your sleep, how much exercise and walking you’re doing, and even get a daily food journal on your phone with their app, the Misfit is for you. We love their sleek design, which makes it super comfortable to wear, whether you’re working out or you’re sleeping and you can clip it just about anywhere, not just wear it on your wrist alone.
Under Armour Speedform Gemini
Anybody who owns a pair of shoes from Under Armour knows how incredibly comfortable they are. While we’ve given in to the fact that stilettos will always hurt if they look hot, that shouldn’t be the case for the shoes you work out in. We love UA’s latest Speedform Gemini and its multi features which includes breathability, a heel cup with a foam collar that fits to a tee and natural flex grooves, amongst others.
If you’re hitting the reset button like us this January, reach out for a cookbook like Clean Slate: A Cookbook and Guide: Reset Your Health, Detox Your Body, and Feel Your Best. The book helps you eat clean with recipes that incorporate unprocessed foods and eliminate butter, refined sugar, all-purpose flour and red meat. They also have a 21-day action plan to kick start your new regimen.
