We can’t believe 2014 is coming to an end so quickly, but we’re not about to close the chapter of this book just yet. The second weekender of December means the biggest beach music festival is about to hit Singapore shores, but if you’re not up for that, we’ve got shopping, film and some holiday-appropriate shindigs for your social calendar!
Time to party, party, party because one of the biggest nights in Singapore’s nightlife calendar, ZoukOut is back and is poised at outdoing its predecessor, as always. Head down to Siloso Beach and party all night long at one of the best dance music beach parties of the year. Featuring international headline DJs such as Steve Aoki, Nicky Romero and Showtek, ZoukOut will be the place to be and be seen, preferably with cocktail in hand, dancing ’til the sun comes up!

Celebrating its 25th Anniversary, the Singapore International Film Festival is the largest and longest-running film event in the Lion City. Focused on independent Asian cinema from around the region, this year’s edition will screen 147 feature and short films of all genres from over 50 countries. Not just reserved for film buffs, this is an event guaranteed to keep you enthralled and entertained!
Warm up those vocal chords because the Singapore Symphony Chorus and Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir will be performing a fun and festive concert this weekend. Filled with classic carols and holiday melodies, this a yuletide treat you shouldn’t miss. Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

There are two things that we love – cats and shopping, and these two things come together this weekend at Goddess Purrzaar, a collaboration between Cats Of The World and Goddess Marketplace. Goddess Purrzaar will see over 34 vendors come together to sell everything from kitty treats for your feline friends, to locally made nut butters and granolas as well as crystals, incense and healing oils. You can also adopt a cat at the Cat Welfare Society booth while you’re there!
