Merging travel, art and architecture, The ParkRoyal Hotel on Pickering is transforming itself into an art gallery for the Art ApArt Fair. Band-of-the-moment The 1975 are coming to Singapore for the very first time on the 22 July. This indie four-piece British band had their self-titled album debut at number one on the UK charts and have since gone on to play a sell-out tour around the world. Their mix of brooding alternative rock, playful electronica, and 80’s glam rock will have you singing out loud in a second.

Street Art Celebration
Attention creatives! Matchbox, who help provide funding and guidance for aspiring artists, are hosting Matchbox Mayhem, a trendy street party that will explore street art and grafitti-culture. Featuring works from skilled up-and-comers as well as established artists and live dance performances by contemporary dancer Jie Xiao, Matchbox Mayhem is the event for art with no boundaries. Did we mention, you’ll also have a chance to stretch your creative muscles, grab an aerosol can and get involved!
