Ladies night with Fifty Shades of Grey
The much-awaited film debuts this weekend and Golden Village wants you to make a night of it with with your partner or BFF and watch it in style at Gold Class. Make it a romantic night out; a ticket includes a three-course meal, a glass of sparkling wine, ticket to the movie of course and even chances to win in a lucky draw.

The stage is set at Fort Canning for Asia concert series The Gathering. The lineup is very Indie-friendly; think headliners like Belle and Sebastian, Caribou and Temples. Also in the lineup are US indie rock band Real Estate, American singer-songwriter Tom Krell, and local acts Charlie Lim and Pleasantry.

Stand up giggles
Have you ever felt like an insider and an outsider at the same time? Then, Gina Yashere‘s stand up show is one you should catch. The lady hails from London, but has her roots in Nigeria and has broken into the American comedy scene with her appearances on Last Comic Standing (NBC), where she made it to the final 10. She is also known in the US for her regular, hilarious appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC), as Madame Yashere, The Surly Psychic.
A quickie 5k
Keep up with your 2015 resolutions and squeeze in a quick 5km run at the Marina Party Dash this weekend. Get dressed up in costumes for the easy 5km fun run which will take you out from Gardens by the Bay East to Marina Barrage and back, giving all participants a chance to see everyone’s ridiculous costumes as they run, jog, stroll along. Expect to get wet because everyone will be given a water pistol and volunteers equipped with larger water guns will be waiting to ambush you. There’s also a picnic after so you can relax and laze in the sun.

Hearts go loco
If you’re as tired of the pink hearts and lovey dovey couples as some of us are and you’re single and ready to mingle, go loco at Lucha Loco this V Day for their Anti-Valentine’s Day party.
