Chic and fashionable brands to check out at W.E+
Our Sassy city never lets us down when it comes to the latest labels, stylish stores and hippest hangouts. W.E+ is a new concept store from Workshop Element that houses unique brands running alongside the backdrop of a super cool café and we know the Sassy girls of Singapore are going to love it as much as we do.
Founded by designer Alfie Leung, W.E started out as a pop-up store showcasing local designers and providing emerging international brands a platform. Since then the store has developed a vast following and has evolved into a more permanent shop-in-shop concept, W.E.+. The store has a main focus on four fabulous brands that are in keeping with the stores modern and edgy vibe.
Since 2008 Happy Socks have been changing the way we view socks and have transformed them from boring basics into colourful statements that showcase personality and add a touch of fun. This will be Happy Socks first standalone store in South East Asia and promises to have the most extensive range of Happy Socks in all of Singapore.
Even though this is mainly for the boys, I must admit I love this brand! Founded in 2013 LLYR “embraces the modern dandy,” and produces fine crafted shoes and leather items that are designed right here in Singapore. As a luxury men’s footwear brand, LLYR brings together the best of European design and Asian artistry. These high quality products are sourced from trusted partners who are known for their outstanding materials.
Designed by celebrity stylish Angela Lim this label is a firm favourite here. Her luxurious materials, affordable prices and contemporary designs are ideal items to add a bit of attitude to your wardrobe. The Revolte Style shopping flagship within W.E+ not only stocks gorgeous products will but also also offers styling advice, consultations and even in-store hair and make-up. A one-stop shop for everything!
Formerly known as MU. this brand by Alfie was revamped earlier this year to represent how the brand has developed over the past eight years. As part of the stores’ press night, Alfie showcased his collection with a stunning performance highlighting the brand’s fluid aesthetics and signature draping. MU. is hot off the press, unmistakably stylish and we can’t wait to see the full AW15 collection in full.
Alongside these stunning brands is the W.E Café adding a lifestyle element to the store for the first time. Headed by Chef Steven who previously worked at The 1925 Microbrewery & Restaurant. This laid back café has an eclectic mix of warehouse chic, retro pieces and contemporary cool which fits in perfectly with their East- meets- West modern menu. I hear their waffles and homemade gelato are outrageously good!
W.E.+ is located in Suntec City and looks set to become a hot spot for the fashionistas of Singers and we look forward to seeing you all there!
