Saakalya Yoga’s instructors all had one thing in common – they were searching for an outlet to relax and de-stress and found that through yoga. And if there’s anyone that can understand how much stress us Sassy Girls face, it’s these three instructors, Sophie Chua, Alex Schmutterer, and Emma Forsell. With over twenty years of experience under their belt combined, Saakalya Yoga promises to help you release the stresses on our modern lifestyle. They’re launching an all-new Yoga and Singing Bowls session which incorporates classic yoga with a combination of singing bowls that vibrate and is aimed at healing every part of your physical being! The class is scheduled for 14 September and we’ve already signed up! You should too!

“Yoga for normal people”. Oh how we can so relate to that. In fact, the philosophy of the boutique yoga studio is simple – to get healthier and feel good! So regardless of your fitness level, size, age or shape, KPY welcomes you with open arms. We’re seriously considering embarking on a yoga retreat where we do nothing except eat, sleep and OM the day away! So this sounds like something that’s right up your alley, find out more here. Right when we entered Yoga Movement’s studio space in Tanjong Pagar, it was love at first sight. The white brick walls, full-of-natural-light hall and friendly staff had us sold – and we hadn’t even started on our first class. The brainchild of our homegrown singer-songwriter, Alicia Pan, Yoga Movement is really a sanctuary for many – welcoming people from all walks of life. We highly recommend DJ and Liv but are sure that any instructor you get here is guaranteed to be top-notch. So whether you’re planning to kick off with the basics, work up a sweat or zen out in a one-of-a-kind studio, you’ve met your match.
