You’ve heard of dinner theatre? Well, hold onto your hats ladies because nomadic theatre group Andsoforth are pushing the culinary boundaries of The Lion City by creating pop-up theatrical feasts that immerse partygoers in stories, drama, secrets and gastronomic delights. Hot on the heels of their sell-out November event “The Experiment”, Andsoforth will be hosting a series of immersive pop-up dinners in the first two weeks of February and to say we’re excited, would be an understatement!
Inspired by the underground dining sub-culture in London, founders Stuart Wee and Emily Png have assembled an amazing creative crew of actors, set designers, chefs, costume designers, illustrators, copywriters, scriptwriters, producers, lighting designers and sound scape artists (phew!) to bring these immersive dining experiences to life.
So what can we expect from this upcoming dramatic feast? “The Heist” is all about missions, assignments, red herrings, intrigue and twists. Guests are called upon to look beyond the obvious and find method in their own madness. Are you stealthy enough to handle The Heist? To join this unique gastronomic experience, simply book your ticket and wait for the secret hideout to be revealed! Once you’re in, you will be considered a co-conspirator and sworn to secrecy… so keep those lips zipped, girls, and good luck on The Heist!
