We do it every year – make promises to ourselves, ask other people what they’re planning to do and aim to better ourselves. Here at Sassy, we’re supportive of all your resolutions, even if you choose not to make them. We asked our Sassy Team what their resolutions were, so perhaps you can take some inspiration from it.

“The older I grow, the simpler my resolutions become. This year, I want to be in the fittest shape I have ever been in my life. This involves virtual personal training sessions with my trainer, yoga and hikes! And probably consuming a lot less Nutella! I also need to make a conscious effort to worry less. My mother worries about everything, and I have not only inherited her culinary skills, but also her ability to worry and fuss about every single thing. It gets exhausting!”
Kristin, Partnerships Director
“Often times I find resolutions to be negative in nature so this year I am going to do MORE of lots of things. Have more fun. Travel to more new places. Smile more. Drink more water. Drink more champagne. Make more friends. Be more positive. And the list goes on even more. Cheers to more great times in 2015!”
Emilie, Managing Director
“I plan on incorporating more colours in my life and wardrobe. Try and find a healthy balance between work and play. Be more mindful towards others, the environment and my body. Increase my spirituality… as it is virtually inexistent at this stage… And finally try to abide by the rule “less is more”.
“I plan on getting more organised (yawn I know)… I’m trying out the app ToDoist to finally get my To Do List out of my head and onto my various devices, and I’m going to try to keep a clean inbox and respond to tricky emails earlier. I’m also deleting Facebook from my phone to avoid fiddling about when I should be working/doing something productive! I also want to have more fun with my clothes – I’ve been so busy and focused on day-to-day survival that I’ve forgotten how much I love clothes, and I’m stuck in a Singapore uniform of cut-off denim shorts and blouses. I recently came across Spell Australia and I really love their boho maxis and playsuits. I’m inspired to take some risks!”

“2015 is going to be a year where I get out of my comfort zone. I want to push myself harder and faster to reach all my career and fitness goals while having a laugh with my team and friends along the way. I’ve just enrolled into a photography course because no interview is complete without a candid portrait, so I’m hoping to bring my articles to life through beautiful images.”
Vanessa, Editorial Assistant
“This year is all about exploration and creative growth, both physically and mentally! My resolutions are to travel and explore new places while learning to live in the moment and never stop setting new goals for myself. I plan on dedicating more of my free time to going on hikes, seeing exhibitions, writing, drawing and photographing the world around me.”
Megan, Editorial Assistant
“This 2015, I’m going to be more creative. Ever since leaving university last year, I feel like I’ve lost touch with my creative side since I’ve been so busy, but not this year. I’m going to make myself write for at least an hour daily and get my travel blog up once and for all…good thing I work in an office full of bloggers who’ve got experience to spare! I’ve also promised myself that I’ll finally perform at my first spoken word night after putting it off for months last year, so wish me luck.”
