The Sassy team dishes out their goals for 2016.
New year, new you – right? While new year’s resolutions can get quite ambitious and people generally tend to ditch them by the first week of February, we’re all positive gals here (and we really walk the talk) at Sassy so we try to make realistic goals and give ourselves a clear road map to get to the finish line. So in the spirit of starting afresh, we got the Sassy team together to share what they’re hoping to achieve in 2016. We hope all this real talk inspires you to set your own personal objectives for your best year yet.
My goal for 2016 is to exercise more, travel off the beaten path and try to worry less.
This year I’ve decided not to make resolutions, but instead I’m doing goals divided up by category: Personal Development, Relationships, Career, Travel + Family, and then setting action steps in 3 month intervals… If that sounds crazy Type A, well, yep guilty!
I hope to get in touch more often with my family and friends that are far away. I miss them so much, and everybody gets caught up in the daily routines, but I want to allocate time for them.
I’m going to try to ease off on being too attached to my phone. I think we’re all so obsessed with sharing everything on social media that we tend to overlook the reality that’s tangible like spending undisturbed quality time with our friends and families. I also hope to strive better for Sassy and for you dear readers, work hard, play harder and learn to be the best wife, sister, daughter and friend to all my loved ones.
I’m a really practical person, so for the new year I’m hoping to make loads of memories with loved ones, a great journey in my career with Sassy and perhaps sporadic week-long travels to start off my mission of seeing the world, little by little!
My new years resolution for 2016 is to have more structure to my week. I have already swooped up these super cute Weekly Desk Planners from Rifle Paper Co to keep my planning pretty! I am going to sit down on Sunday’s each week to outline my plans. Hopefully this will help me to squeeze in a few more lunches or evenings with friends or an extra date night with the hubby!
My new year’s resolution is to eat well, sleep well, stay healthy and be happy!
