Not only is the Shangri-La our go-to for a blow out buffet breakfast, but its spa is one of the best around. We don’t know about you, but here at Sassy, we’re not fans of schlepping from place to place just to get beautified, which is why we love Spa Esprit so much. Scenic Serenity – Banyan Tree
Ask anyone about spas in Singapore and you will hear the words Banyan Tree. Sitting pretty at the top of Marina Bay Sands Hotel, with stunning views of the city, this Asian-inspired spa manages to combine glamour with spiritual elements perfectly so you feel restored and pampered all at the same time. The treatments are superb too and range from massages, facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures to even hair treatments. Some spas offer you a quick analysis before they get going with their lotions and potions, but things are different over at Spa Artisan. Using purely the most natural hand-made ingredients, the spa puts a huge emphasis on healing through the human touch – which is why the getting to know you part is so important. A fresh and really quite funky spa in the plush Fullerton Hotel, it’s not hard to see why it’s won so many awards. Oh and if you have dieting on the brain, they also have the much lauded Power Slim studio too.

The traditional treat – Ikeda Spa
We challenge you not to feel better after just one trip to Ikeda Spa. Touted as Singapore’s first Japanese spa, it has real focus on serenity, detoxification and most importantly, relaxation. While their facials range from whitening, purifiying to anti-aging, their body treatments focus on hot bath detoxification and massages from acupressure to zen music therapy. Oh and they also offer nail art – really there’s nothing not to love about Ikeda.

If your idea of pampering is taking care of mind, body and soul, then you need to head down to Verita.
