We’ve rounded up the best events and tips to get you revved up and roaring for the Singapore Grande Prix!
For pure spectacle, look no further than the 2015 Formula 1Singapore Airlines Singapora Grand Prix. The Home of Formula 1® Night Racing will be jam-packed with entertainment and activities that will complement the exhilarating racing action on track this 18 to 20 September. To help you better navigate the offerings at the 799,000sqm circuit park, here are the reasons (Part 2) to be in the heart of the action at the Marina Bay street circuit.

21. CLOSER RACING
Closer racing and more overtaking is expected this year, following a number of modifications to the Marina Bay Street Circuit between Turns 11 to 13.
22. FORMULA ONE RACE LIKE NO OTHER
Singapore continues to challenge drivers like no other: the heat and humidity a real test of endurance. Expect a close fight amongst the top teams as Singapore provides the best opportunity for a level-playing field with driver skills coming to the fore and all-out power less important.
23. TCR INTERNATIONAL RACE
Witness popular car manufacturers Volkswagen, Honda, Ford, Euro superstars Seat León, and Opel Astra OPC compete in the all-new TCR International Series support race.
24. PORSCHE CARRERA ASIA
Blockbuster support category Porsche Carrera Cup Asia features some of the best drivers contesting this one-make series, featuring the ever-electrifying Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.
25. SUPPORT PADDOCK
Get up close to the racing machines and pit crew of the support categories at the Support Paddock. This privileged view is accessible only to Zone 1 patrons.
26. ALL DAY, ALL NIGHT
Get ready for non-stop racing and entertainment from the time the Circuit Park opens at 3pm till it closes at 12:30am.
27. MORE VIEWING PLATFORMS
Take your pick of where to catch the racing action up-close, with 15% more viewing platforms located strategically throughout the Circuit Park this year.
28. TRACK INVASION
Walk the track and experience the drivers’ view of the circuit at the end of the final track activity. This is also a shortcut for Zone 1 patrons to get to the Padang Stage concerts.
29. GET CLOSER TO THE ARTISTES
Head to the Circuit Park early to secure a spot at the Fan Zone – the ‘moshpit’ in front of the Padang stage – to get up close to your favourite artistes! Access is first-come-first-served.
30. GASTRONOMIC DELIGHTS
Go on a gastronomic adventure with the wide range of restaurants and bars at the F1 Village
in Zones 1 and 4, Bay Undercroft at Zone 3 and the Dockside Hawker at Zone 4.
31. ENJOY A BIRD’S EYE VIEW OF THE TRACK
Get an aerial view of the Singapore circuit from 165 metres above at the Singapore Flyer(accessible to Zone 1 patrons only). Tickets can be purchased at the Singapore Flyer counter.
32. SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS DISPLAY
Look out for the stunning fireworks display that will light up the Singapore night sky at the Marina Bay once the chequered flag is waved.
33. LIVE COMMENTARY
Never miss a second of track action by tuning in to 102FM for live commentary on your FM receiver. The race will also be broadcast on 25 superscreens throughout the Circuit Park.
34. FORMULA ONE MEMORABILIA
Show your team some support and wear their team merchandise! Official team memorabilia is available at the F1 Villages in Zones 1 and 4.
35. NEW JUBILEE BRIDGE
A new 220-metre Jubilee Bridge which links the Merlion Park to the Esplanade promenade has been incorporated into the Circuit Park, providing an excellent vantage point of the fireworks display on Sunday.
36. INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES
Try your hand at a myriad of free interactive activities — get ‘inked’ at the temporary tattoo booths, experience what it takes to be a pit-crew at the Pit Stop Challenge stations, or clock the best time on the race simulators.

Public transport will be beefed up over the race weekend — train services and selected feeder bus services will be extended, making it the best way to get to the track. Check out the Circuit Park map here for the location of the nearest subway station and/or gates.
45. RAIN OR SHINE EVENT
The Event will go on rain, or shine. If it rains, pick up a survival kit containing a poncho and a pair of earplugs at the Circuit Park — proceeds go to charity. For optimal comfort, wear light clothing and comfortable walking shoes.
46. FORMULA ONE DRIVERS’ PARADE
Wave and cheer on your favourite drivers as they go round the circuit in a Drivers’ Parade before the start of the race on Sunday
