Sweet tooth addicts, right this way! There’s a new patisserie in town and it’ll have you dreaming of elegant Parisian adventures. Mad About Sucre, founded by siblings Eric and Lena Chan, is a charming cafe that will enthrall everyone with their celebratory-inspired cakes. Each beautifully designed and handcrafted cake is handled by the talented Lena (we’ve got a #girlboss over here), an alumni member of the famed Le Cordon Bleu.
Staying true to its ethos of producing quality natural cakes, Mad About Sucre is committed to using organic flour, unprocessed raw sugar and finely curated ingredients from all over the world so that the natural flavours of the cakes are enhanced. On top of that, sugar levels are reduced from 20% to 60% of the required quantity in their original recipes.
Marrying sophistication with French confectionary techniques, the ambience and decor of the café is trés chic. Black and white walls lined with gold accent shelves and a bright glistening tabletop and display case greets you as you enter. Striped furniture and accessories along with the faint sound of French tunes playing in the background all add up to providing its patrons with a dreamy slice of Paris.
So once you’re done digesting this delicious read, we suggest you take your favourite girls out on a dessert arvo at Mad About Sucre to satiate your sweet tooth cravings. See you there!
