Some people might say that good burgers are tough to find but come May 2015, things are about to change. London-based partners Scott Collins and Yianni Papoutsis have created an edgy and cool joint that serves American diner-style comfort food at affordable prices and will bring all that goodness here to Duxton Road next month.
Opening up its first international outlet outside Britain, MEATLiquor has successfully drawn people all over London to queue for their signature ‘Dead Hippie’ made with a double-layer of patties, finely diced raw onion, molten cheese, shredded lettuce and thick slices of gherkin with a drizzle of the mellow and tangy ‘secret’ burger sauce and we’re certain it’ll hit off the same way here. Although the menu for Singers has not been firmed up yet, there will be slight differences to its other outlets in England and will be introducing dishes with local accents like sambal chicken wings and soft shell crab fried in a spicy batter.
Now all that talk about juicy food is making our mouths water so May – come quick already! Watch out for our review on this cult spot soon!
