We’re totally flipping out over the best pancakes in The Lion City!
Pancakes are pretty much quintessential breakfast food, apart from our Kopi O and kaya toasts of course. But what we love about these fluffy, round stacks of goodness is that they go with pretty much anything savoury or sweet. From the tastiest Speculoos-spammed pancakes to smoked salmon pancakes with egg, we’ve scoured the island for the best pancakes in the Lion City. Dig in!
Of all the countless times we’ve been to Butter Studio, we’ve never failed to order the Speculoos Pancakes. Topped with Speculoos cookie butter spread and sprinkled with gingersnap cookie crumb served with golden maple syrup, this pancake dish is positively decadent. With a commitment to building an authentic brand where everything is made by hand, you’ll be sure to have a good serving of warm and fluffy handmade goodness at this Halal-certified spot. Other must-try items on the menu includes the Sea Salt Nutella Tart and Chilli Crab & Shrimp Roll.

A hybrid of an art gallery and cafe that believes in giving recognition to emerging artists, Artistry is a charming spot that has won our cafe-loving hearts. Not only is it situated in the heart of the Kampung Glam heritage district, but it also serves one delicious heaven of a menu. Of course the pancakes here are great too! The batter is dense, moist and covered with blueberries, ricotta cheese and bacon and drenched in golden maple syrup and butter. It’s really a party in your mouth, we tell you!

Imagine fluffy buttermilk pancakes, stacked so high it can reach the sky! The buttermilk pancake with creme patisserie, poached strawberries and ice cream served during brunch is absolutely smorgasmic. The house-made crème patisserie is drizzled between the layers of pancakes as raspberries and poached strawberries are trickled over the glorious structure. Talking about these babies just don’t do justice. You have to have a taste! Plus the handsome decor and cosy interior is perfect for that date with your SO.
