It’s time to celebrate the spookiest month of the year! Fans of the ghoulish season can rejoice as there are many events in Singers that will scare the sassy out of you. We’ve dug up some graves and left some tombs unturned to bring you a guide of the hottest Halloween events and parties of the year. And since this is probably the only time of the year that you can get away decked out in a crazy costume, we highly recommend hitting these parties in your best Halloween get-up!
It’s Universal Studios Singapore‘s fifth halloween installment, and we’ve heard they’re adding a bout of local flavour to this year’s line-up. The event runs every weekend of the month, featuring a variety of scare houses and scare zones, backed up by the theme park’s eery setting. Challenge your fears as you explore hell houses and haunted HDBs, among other gruesome scare attractions.

Take refuge from the hellish and gory nature of Halloween at The Rabbit Hole, where innovation and quirk are much preferred. This specialty gin garden bar is all about being one with Mother Nature, having reeled in The Floral Artelier to provide guests with floral tiaras and garden headgears on Halloween night. DJ KFC will also be spinning, so you can expect hours of lively beats. It may sound nothing like Halloween, but on the contrary guests are actually encouraged to arrive in costumes.

Indulge in the arts at Fort Canning Park this halloween weekend, where Noise alumni musicians such as iNCH and The Summer State will be jamming for the crowd. There’s also an arts market to browse through, totalling up to 80 stores brought to you by The Local People. If you’re seen strutting around in a stellar Halloween outfit, you might just be lucky enough to win a $100 shopping voucher.

Those up for a good scare should consider heading down to Scary Scary Night, a Bugis Street and House of the Unknown Production House affair, promising to have you trembling by the end of the night. The scare event takes you on a walk through Bugis Street’s insanely quiet alleys after dark, as you try your best to bite back blood curdling screams.

The Rink, located in JCube, is hosting their Halloween Spooky Freeze event on the 23rd, 24th 30th and 31st of October. It features a foggy maze participants can skate through, as they encounter spooky monsters on ice. Taking part in their Disco on Ice quiz while you’re there allows you a shot at a mystery prize too.

Dress up and head down to Clarke Quay, where they’ll be hosting their very own party from 7pm till 10.30pm. Be spooked out by some of Singapore’s most iconic ghosts, and take part in their costume contest! We all love competitions right? Admission is free, so we see no obstacle stopping you from belting out to the entertainment for the night: Stereofly and 808 from Highlander.

Although recently refurbished, it is said voices have been heard wailing from inside the walls and chilling messages have been left behind. Can you figure out which suspect is the actual culprit?
