Father’s Day in Singapore is around the corner (mark 21 June of your calendar girls!), which means you should probably stop what you’re doing and start planning for a meal with the old man. Then, try the succulent Center-Cut Filet Mignon, signature cut New York strip or other equally mouth-watering dishes. Don’t forget to wash it all down with a slice of Morton Chocolate Cake too!

Holy dim sum! Boy, do we love our Chinese food. If your Dad’s a fan too then Ju Chun Yuan would be the place to dine for Father’s Day. Famed for serving Fu-Xhou Style dishes, your favourite man can take his pick from 30 dim sum dishes during the buffet lunch! Baked, fried, steamed – you name it, they got it. Don’t forget to order the Crunchy Deep Fried Pork Belly Slice served with a spicy sauce specially created for the celebrations.
Ju Chun Yuan’s dim sum à la carte buffet is priced at S$26.90+ per adult and $16.00+ per child, and set dinner priced between S$188++ to S$288++, and is available on 20 and 21 June.

Mummy had her celebratory meal here, so why take Dad here too? This authentic Italian fine-dining resto has an impeccable track record for serving up excellent food and amazing service so indulge Daddy with a hearty Italian fare like the Australian Beef Tenderloin with Cipollini Confit. Whisk Daddy dearest to this beautiful spot for brunch and treat him to a buffet spread featuring a hearty Roast of the Day, smoked salmon and poached eggs with all-you-can-eat starters, sides and yes, you guessed right – desserts. Choose between an assortment of artisanal French farm cheeses, single malt whisky bread and pudding or crepe suzettes with Grand Marnier.

Another spot that was a hit with the Mums, Cantonese restaurant Man Fu Yuan always cooks up a storm. Specially for Father’s Day, Executive Chef Kwan Yiu Kan and his awesome culinary team will present two specially crafted eight-course set menus. Daddies get to dine on the restaurant’s tab with every three set menus purchased. That’s not all – there’ll be a bottle of wine on the house too!
The Father’s Day Special Set is valid on 20 and 21 June and is priced at $128++ / $148++ per person.
Café Brio at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel
Another buffet spot for the win! Café Brio at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel is a place we know your Dad will absolutely love. Think assorted salmon platter with green tea mayonnaise, (yum!) their in-house barbecue combination platter, delish braised pork knuckle with Chinese spices, Peking duck wrapped with egg pancake – the mouthwatering list goes on! At the end of your indulgent buffet, relish a sweet ending with mascarpone cream cake, chilled red ruby with Thai chendol and coconut milk, and Shanghai pancake. All Daddies will be given a cigar-shaped chocolate too, just because.
