If you’re into structured minimal pieces, hop aboard the hype train ladies for COS’ S/S 15 collection. Their simple and clean aesthetic has taken a turn for the neutral with pops of mermaid-esque metallic and neons, and there’s a number of great looks that’ll see you easily through the start of the year. (Well, this girl’s hoping to make their olive blazer a staple for 2015.)
They’re all about the oversized asymmetry this season, with one shouldered tailored separates, half collared blazers and some pretty futuristic structures and cut outs that err on just the right side of sexy. And don’t be scared to be sheer this spring, girls. The half-collared powder blue number above has us floating on cloud nine and the very futuristic translucent coat will definitely be the talk of the town. I’m still not completely taken by the mermaid scale tunic dress below on the right however…
In particular, I’m loving their mesh scuba dress and blazer (above left) and their cobalt column dress (middle), which you could easily dress up or down with the right accessories and a good pair of heels. The aesthetic, while super delineated, is surprisingly feminine and sometimes surprisingly sensual – definitely a fashion update away from the mainstream.
Perfect for the Sassy Girl who hates fuss but wants a bit of kick in her wardrobe, the new collection is full of new staples that’ll transition easily from the weekend, to the office, to cocktails with the right lippy and accessories. Though maybe stay away from their hotel-esque white leather slippers and stick to their fresh origami clutches and separates girls.
