There’s a reason it’s nearly always impossible to get into the Tiong Bahru Bakery and it’s simple: their food is really very good. The croissants are fresh and fluffy, the pain au raisin are marvellously moist and the bread, well it’s just brilliant. With new outlets springing up across the city, our favourite is still the original in Tiong Bahru, even if that does mean waking up super early to make sure we get a seat.
