Twice voted Tatler’s restaurant of the year, IndoChine is quite the society hang-out. With crystal chandeliers, oversized buddha statues and antique furniture, IndoChine might be accused of being slightly OTT but personally, we think that just adds to its charm. The menu is Indonesian crossed with Chinese and with favourites including Vietnamese spring rolls, black pepper beef and duck in green sauce, IndoChine pride themselves on serving fresh and healthy dishes. While the food is good and the service impressive, where this Singapore staple really stands out though is the view, right on the waterfront, this al fresco spot serves up some of the best views we have found.
