Sprawling across 7,000 square feet, Chillax is a unique lifestyle proposition, including an art gallery, a beauty salon, a café serving up ethically-produced coffees and teas, and a florist – you feel like you’d quite like to make yourself at home. It’s not just about the added extras, though, the selection of vendors Chillax have brought together are pretty cool too. We picked a few of our stand-out faves to let you know what to make a beeline for!
Abi and Joseph
You can’t miss this brand as they’ve bagged a prime position right by the entrance! With their bold colours and luxe fabrics, they have high hanger appeal, rare for workout clothes. We can just see Bukit Timah’s yummy mummies doing down dogs in these babies…
These colourful Fair Trade-certified ceramics, handmade and handpainted by Vietnamese artisans, are seriously covetable.
Helmed by British florists Hollie Hodges and Jane Warner, this has instantly become Singapore’s most sophisticated florist. When we visited they were putting the final touches to some absolutely stunning bouquets.
Lust-worthy leather shoes in a rainbow of colours, including glittery options for the magpies amongst us. Quite pricey considering in Spain these are not uber-luxe shoes, but we’re kind of used to the Singapore mark-up by now.
As a stalwart Sassy fave, we’re thrilled this previously online-only party supplies shop now has a physical presence so we can check out the goodies in person before we buy!
Pssst… Chillax Market is not terribly well signposted currently (The Grandstand doesn’t do directions very well as we know!), so basically when you come in, head towards the elevator near Omakase Burger and ride up to the 3rd floor.
