With over 500 retail locations, chances are, you can probably bump into an Olive Young store as often as you would a Starbucks. Olive Young is a mid-range beauty store that stocks everything from skincare and cosmetics, some selection of beauty products for hair and body, tools and even a small selection of drinkable beauty products. We recommend checking out the store in Myeongdong for the sheer size, and incredible selection. Plus, there is a Lifestyle Experience Centre within the store, where you can find multiple beauty zones like including a K-pop Zone and Body Care Zone to help you find products in the abyss.

LOHBS is a smaller chain than Olive Young, but is definitely worth a visit. An acronym for Love, Health, and Beauty, the store stocks mid range-priced products but with a cult feel to them. There are some amazing niche brands that you’ll find if you spend some time in the store. If you’re a sucker for consumable beauty products, you’ll find quite an expansive area dedicated to skin balancing waters and collagen jellies.
SSG Food Market
While you can definitely find fresh herbs, produce and day-to-day essentials in this upscale supermarket, SSG Food Market drives in the belief that beauty is achieved both internally and externally with heaps of beauty and lifestyle products amidst the groceries.

Just because you have Watsons at home doesn’t mean you should turn a blind eye to this mega drugstore chain. Like the stores you have in Singapore, Watsons has its mish mash of vitamins, first aid essentials and local medication. With low price points, a wide selection of makeup, skincare, hair and bodycare products, it’s hard not to go buck wild in Watsons. Pity your Watsons card is not valid in Korea too.

A relative newcomer to the beauty scene, Belport is a little different than its drugstore, or pharmacy-like counterparts — its interiors are minimalist, looking chicer than a run-of-the-mill drugstore spot and while it stocks similar brands to LOBHS, it also has more niche international brands that might just claim a permanent spot on your bathroom shelf.
